Ph.D. Patent Attorney
Agnes provides advice on intellectual property rights with emphasis on patenting. With a background in applied physics and mechanical engineering, she works most with inventions related to physics, electronics, data and communication, but also has experience in renewable energy, climate technology, satellite imaging and remote sensing, modeling, and programming.
Agnes has a Ph.D. in Applied Physics in 2004 and a B.Eng. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering in 2001 from the University of Strathclyde, UK. She has worked in Acapo since 2018.
Agnes has a broad experience from working with the private sector, research institutions and academia in Norway and abroad. Prior to joining Acapo, she worked in DNV GL with technology evaluation under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, business and strategy advisory in DNV GL Business Assurance and with research advisory in DNV GL Group Research and Innovation. She has worked internationally across a wide range of industries in renewable energy, energy and public infrastructure, shipping, telecommunications, process industry, oil and gas, transport, food and drink, and aquaculture. Prior to this she was a research scientist at the Meteorological Institute, the Norwegian Institute for Air Research and the European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN).
Agnes mother tongue is French, her working languages are Norwegian, English and French.
